A WoW raid guide was very helpful to me when I decided to make my own raids, to have the right to reserve for myself all the goodies I wanted. But to make a PUG work as a team and have a smooth and fast raid or instance run, it’s important to choose the right people.
To be a great leader, you must know all the strategies and tactics for every encounter in every instance in the game. Fortunately, the WoW raid and instance guide I’ve been following has taught me everything I needed to know about any boss encounter in Northrend.
However, a successful raid run starts with the players you select. So, here are a few tips to gather your men and put together a tip top WoW raid group.

1. Always check the players you invite for their achievements. They must know the tactics for the bosses you’re about to kill.
2. Players must have PvE epic gear, so inspect their equipment before inviting them.
3. Tanks and healers are key-elements for any raid. As they don’t grow on trees, you can start looking for at least a part of them 1-2 days before your raid.
WoW Instance Guide – How To Make A Successful Instance Group
1. Players that sign up for heroics are usually not extremely good geared. That doesn’t matter though. An instance run can go smoothly if the tank or healer are good.
2. Make sure you balance your instance group. So, try not to invite two of the same class.
3. AoE groups are far more effective and much faster than crowd control groups. So get players with good AoE spells and combat skills.
These tips should enhance any players leadership abilities at least a little and help even a raiding beginner conduct a raid without a fail.
