b/c they no longer make the xbox.
that would be a waste of money for them to make a old consoles games.
plus not all xbox games work on the xbox 360. so they would have a lot of complaints if someone bought a game game thinking it would work on the 360 and then getting it and finding that it doesn’t work.

because the xbox 360 has been out for over 3 years now and most people don’t have the normal xbox any more

Because they eventually started to lose popularity and microsoft had to come up with the 360. Then the 360 was so big, that everybody just stopped the whole xbox thing. I know, it sucks, i used to have an xbox but i just upgraded to an Elite!

It’s for the same exact reason that Nintendo doesn’t make NES games anymore…same reason Sega doesn’t make Dreamcast games anymore…same reason Atari doesn’t make Atari 2600 games anymore.

The system is outdated, and has been for three and a half years… which, coincidentally, is the same amount of time the Xbox 360 has been out.

i also still got the original xbox, because the new system is top of the line and has been out for a few years, they stopped making them. U can still use most of the xbox games for a 360. By the way, all gamestop stores stopped xbox game trade ins, but u can still buy them at 25% off at the store, until the stock is depleted.

it’s just a market rule, xbox is the past and xbox 360 is the future. Today people want better games as the ones offered by Xbox 360. Buy a xbox 360 and keep in mind that 20% of old xbox games can be run on the new console.
