The WoW Warlock – Leveling and Class Info
The WoW Warlock is one of the fastest classes to level in World of Warcraft due to the fact that they are also a pet class. Depending on the talents that you choose, warlocks can have a number of different pets but unlike hunters, they cannot tame any pets and they are more restricted.
One of the reasons that the WoW warlock tends to be faster to level then other classes is that they have an ability to solo the vast majority of group quests. This is because they can have a tanking pet to do much of the work for them and they also have powerful spells and can use a spell called fear.
Warlocks do not have a particularly steep learning curve but they can be a little more complicated to master than some of the other classes. Nonetheless, they are one of the most fun classes to play and can hurl out a great deal of damage, especially if they are configured as destruction.
A far more effective tank for the warlock is undoubtedly the Felguard which is a spell that you learn only by investing in the demonology tree. Warlocks who invest their points primarily in the other talent trees do not have access to this pet.
Affliction can be a slow and frustrating way to kill things but is a particularly effective method of combating monsters much more powerful than you, especially elite mobs. Demonology, however, relies mostly on the demon pets that you have. This can also be effective as a leveling specification but if you want to do ultimate damage, then destruction is what you need to spec.
The WoW warlock is always in high demand in the end game is being one of the most powerful damage classes available.
