Is the Xbox 360 250gb Kinect compatible with all games?
I’m planning on buying one for Christmas. I had the pro but it ended up getting the dreaded RROD and I haven’t replaced the system since. I want to purchase the new Xbox but not if it isn’t compatible with my old games. Idc if I can’t use them to play with the Kinect, but with the system in general. Is the system compatible with the old xbox 360 games?

yes every ebox is compatible with kinect. but not every game. they have game that you buy for the kinect. there like arcade games with your avatar. i think kinect is kinda stupid but good in a way lol. only because you cant play good games with it. the new xbox 360 is just an upgraded xbox. so that rrod dont happen. you can play any game on it but like i said they only have like arcade games for kinect.

Obviously u can get this
Xbox 360 S Pros
- Nearly silent when compared with the original 360.
- Smaller with a slimmer look.
- Built in wireless N and its fast.
- Integrated optical audio.
- 5 usb ports.
- Internal, but easily accessible 250gb HDD on the bottom of the console.
- Uses half the power of the original.
- Works with most of the old accessories, including the transfer cable.
Xbox 360 S cons
- The IR receiver is located lower on the console and appears to have a narrower field. So depending on setup using a remote maybe a headache.
- Only comes with standard def av cables.
- Does not use the old memory cards or hard drives.
- Touch sensitive buttons that when touch emit a soft tone.
- Kinect ready socket in the back.

It’s just an upgraded xbox 360. Called XBOX 360 S.
When it says Kinect, it means it’s Kinect enabled/ready. Meaning if you use Kinect with the new XBOX360 you don’t have to use the power supply cable that came with the normal Kinect coz that’s for the old XBOX360.
and that new XBOX360 also has wireless already so you don’t have buy that expensive wireless crap.
