How do I get my PS3 games to display in 1080p?
I have a Samsung 1080p HDTV, an HDMI cable, a PS3 set to 1080p, as well as many games that can broadcast at 1080p, but when I play those games, they are for some reason still displaying at SD quality. Is there a step I’m missing or what?

Yeah, be sure to also check your tv settings and make sure that your tv is set to it’s best settings for graphics and resolutions after setting your ps3 to the best!
Here are some steps to follow to make sure your in HD:
1) Make sure your connections are hooked up in the right place and placed in well.
2) Make sure your tv (like said previously) is set to HD1080p.
3) Go To Settings On Your Ps3. Scroll To XMB Menu. Display Settings. Video Output. Pick HDMI. Go ahead with the automatic or custom. Save your settings. Screen will stay the same or go blank in 30 seconds.

You should go to settings, display settings, select video output settings, and select automatic. This will help your optimize your ps3 for full quality gaming. Hope I helped.
