@surfermanspore23 are you joking? Was Halo your first game? Cmon..really..Each console has a couple of good exclusives that make it a must to own. Back in the day, consoles offered a different type of game than pc. You bought a console for platformers, MGS, FF, GT et al. Now they offer little unique games. Plus, online gaming and customisation is severely limited on consoles. Anyone who wants the best gaming experience does pc gaming if they can. I own almost all consoles, it’s not enough

The rich too over NY and they’ve run the poor out… hence why it’s deserted now.

@Protoking Agreed. I own the original GOW but I’m afraid to say I didnt buy GOW2 yet; I have to save up for a $6000 pc gaming rig to run the latest games for the next 3 years… spare a dollar for a brother? luzltov

Gunblade is awesome. I always used to play this at the arcade. Prefer it to House of the Dead etc. The graphics are awesome. Solid, nice lighting, no wasted polygons, consistent. The violence is really tangible, with thing reacting when you shoot them. I guess this loses out a bit because you don’t get to hold a giant vibrating plastic gun. If it was available for 360 I’d totally get this.

Only in NY people explode after they die.

Nice — this and LA Machineguns were classic “Dave & Buster’s games” back in the day… oh sh*t, Mark just mentioned D&B’s in the review! Clearly a lot of us have been there at 1 a.m. with a beer and are thinking along the same lines.

@SupermarketsRevil Adding too much new stuff can ruin a game, *cough* Gears of War 2 and inevitably 3 also.

@1shoryuken ..Yeah..not much support for light gun accessories these days..I agree that after halo 2 the halo series was low on innovation and very much overhyped…at least the newer games added some new things…although not much…repackaging an old sega game isn’t really adding anything new though…just making it accessible to wii owners..
Personally, i prefer to buy the originals and play them on the console they were made for…lots of nostalgia
