If there is one group of celebrities that should not be listened to, it has to be musicians. Music is an art form and it takes master craftsman to create and perform it. The least influential media category in this group are video games. Video games have been building a following since the first console was released in the 80′s. There have been entire generations growing up with video games, and you would surprised at how many households use games as their primary form of entertainment. It wasn’t until the past couple of years that we’ve seen a big surge in funny t-shirts about games, which may be a sort of litmus test as to their popularity.

You only have to look at funny t-shirts to get a judge of what movies, television, music, and games are the most popular at any given time. Media has a strong influence on us all, even if we’re aware of it. If some show that I love is mentioned in passing, I will spend time talking about it with a neighbor. I’m not sure if pop culture is a negative or positive thing on our society, but I do know that there is no way we’ll ever be rid of it.
