After a long and fantastic year on football manager 2010 we are now looking forward to the launch of football manager 2011. The greatest job on earth is back and is set for release on the 8th of October 2010. This is the earliest yet release date of football manager; recent years have seen release dates of:
FM05: 04/11/04 FM06: 21/10/05 FM07: 20/10/06 FM08: 18/10/07 FM09: 14/11/08 FM10: 30/10/09
Those fans around the world who have been spending every living hour of every day on football manager 2010 will no doubt be drooling over the wonderkids of 2011. With the release date now announced we are all itching in our seats waiting to take the game for a spin. The game will no doubt be an improvement on the version before as every year football manager just gets better and better.
The introduction of a better data editor in 2010 surely means even more improvements for 2011. The data editor allows you to edit player’s stats and potential, but also lets you create your own players with their own names, age and value. The last version also allowed you to add your own competitions and leagues making the game even more excited, we sit and wonder just how much better can this get.
2010 also gave us improvements on Tactics with thousands of options and variables, improvements on the interface, match analysis, match engine and just general polishing. What new features will 2011 have? We wonder.
As every football manager fan knows each year we get a new haul of players to glance over and wonder if these are the stars of the future. To be honest football manager normally gets in right. On lots of occasions football manager knew about a potential player potential way before premiership managers, showing that the game has a huge reflection on real life and very accurate. I bet premiership managers would like to have a few of the backroom data guys from football manager on their team.
Last year we saw the integration of football manager on the iphone and other mobiles. We believe that in football manager 2011 this will be one of the areas in which they will have improved. More data, more players, better tactics and match analysis and more.
If you play or follow football manager religiously you are probably in no doubt that their are thousands of fans just like you and lots of websites to which they visit every day. We would like to present to you a football manager 2011 fan site. The site has news, competitions, discussions and the latest on all things football manager. It’s definitely worth a look. Also they now have information on the football manager 2011 release and where to get the cheapest copy on pre order. I think as the game is released and is tried and tested this site will provide you with some fantastic information that will help your football manager 2011 experience be a exciting and fruitful one.

What changes can we expect to the Blacksmithing profession as we approach Cataclysm and the introduction of the new level 525 illustrious Blacksmithing tier?
Blizzard are keeping tight lipped about this, however, from what we know so far, It is likely that the new crafting recipes may well require, or at least benefit from, items from the new secondary profession of archaeology.
The way it has been couched so far, it seems as if we may be actually given the option to add items to the recipe to improve their stats, or not as the case may be.
This simple change is actually quite a radical departure for Blizzard. It means that level 525 Illustrious blacksmiths will have a far greater choice in the usability of the pieces they craft, perhaps allowing items to be tailored to be used by different classes dependant on the buffs etc.. We will have to wait and see.
Of course this benefits the developers as well. It adds choice to the players without them having to design many new graphic models for the weapons and armour made.
A further change is that Blizzard seem to be moving towards making the professions more interdependent than ever before. With key items from one profession required as reagents in another. In a similar way that Blacksmiths make rods for enchanters now.
Straight after Cataclysm is released I expect to see a real race for characters to reach level 525 Illustrious Blacksmithing. Remembering my experience with Burning Crusade and Wrath, the high levels of demand for the top crafted items dies off pretty quickly as character find better look in the instances. With that in mind, consider levelling up mining and maybe the new archaeology profession (which is secondary, and therefore can be used by all players). As without these support professions, levelling up Blacksmithing will be a very expensive prospect, and the profitability of your crafted items will be reduced, or possibly zero.
I think all Blacksmith’s hope that the new weapons they can craft have a decent range of prospective buyers. Wrath of the Lich King’s Blacksmithing additions were woefully short, lacking even the most basic weapon types that a Blacksmith should be able to craft.
Cataclysm will bring change with it. I hope we can all look forward to having a great time reaching level 525 Illustrious Blacksmithing.

Revenues for PC game purchases in the US are still a significant portion of the total US game market. According to a new study released today from Newzoo, 16 percent of all game-based revenues went to PC games (about $4.15 million) compared to 60 percent from consoles (the study didn’t break down specific console revenues). MMO games were seen as a separate category from PC games (even though the vast majority are based on the PC platform) and account for another 8 percent of total revenues or $2.12 million.
The US actually lags in terms of revenue percentages from PC games compared to other countries. According to the report, France has 19 percent of their game revenue go to PC games while the UK had 20 percent. Germany is still a huge PC game market; a whopping 36 percent of its game revenues go to the PC platform. The full report is based on a survey of over 13,000 people aged eight and up.
Study claims PC games represent 16 percent of total US game revenues originally appeared on Big Download Blog on Mon, 10 May 2010 20:00:00 EST. Please see our terms for use of feeds.

Thanks to the time in between Christmas and New Year’s there are no current PC games that are scheduled to ship to stores or be released via download this week. We might see a downloadable expansion for Dragon Age: Origins come out (it was supposed to be released sometime during the holiday season) but that’s looking unlikely.
If any games are released this week we will let you know about it during the week. Otherwise don’t expect any new games to be shipped to stores until the first full week of 2010 when Larian Studios’ Divinity 2 heads to stores in the US.

The world economy is still a mess, even though there are signs that the current situation is improving. However, it appears that game publishers are making fewer deals with developers than the normal and as a result we could see a shortage of games in the next couple of years on the market.
Gamesindustry.biz reports they have talked to a number of developers (unnamed of course) who have told them that publishers are making fewer deals in order to concentrate on their proven core game franchises. As a result, developers fear there will be a smaller amount of games released in 2010 and 2011. One developer that went on the record was Australian based Tantalus. It’s CEO Tom Crago is quoted as saying they hope publishers have a solid 2009 holiday sales season, saying “We hope their outlook is rosier, particularly into 2010 and 2011, and that the volume of titles that are being commissioned increases.”

The Playstation 3 is getting more popular than ever because of so many people changing from Xbox to Playstation 3 due to the kind of gaming strength it has. Probably the best of the features of this system is the ability to have PS3 game downloads received online for use with your system.
We get asked so many times where to find the best downloads at for the PS3. This is why we have now put together this guide to help people know where to download the latest in PS3 games.
Do not trust the free websites for PS3 downloads. Oh you will see them advertised with all sorts of fancy ad banners and such but they are more aggravation than they are worth for the most part.
You can catch a computer virus or download spyware from these sites. Since the files don’t get scanned before they appear on the website, there isn’t a way to know what quality of files you are getting.
Slow speeds downloading and files that won’t work at all are some other problems you will have on sites like these. You wait sometimes for hours on end for these downloads to finally finish just to realize they are corrupt or won’t work for some other reason. All that wasted time expecting to have a fun game to play!
It is recommended that you join a website that specializes in PS3 game downloads. You pay to belong and there is a process for logging in then you can get the downloads whenever you choose. Monitoring is done on these company created sites to make certain no spyware or viruses get into the games. You also get fast download speeds and games that operate correctly.
You will be required to purchase a membership, but this is usually not too large of a fee. You will in return get lifetime access for about fifty dollars. You get to sign in as much and at anytime you want and there will not be another charge. You will then be able to access and unlimited amount of files including things like games, music, and movies that are designed for the Playstation 3.
Stay away from the websites that charge their fees monthly or per each download. This may sound good at first, but it winds up being better to search out those with a membership good for life and only charge the fee one time ever. This is less expensive in the long term.
You can also get all the instructions you need as far as how to have the game files play on your PS3. Software is also available for your downloads if you need it.
After you start downloading your PS3 files from the new site you just joined you will probably become addicted to this practice. New games downloaded whenever you get on your computer, oh what fun! Play on!

When you are looking to have some inexpensive entertainment, you can download games to your home computer for only a few dollars and you can enjoy them each and every day. Many people become addicted as some of these games are simply fantastic.
There are a ton of sites that offer the ability to download games from the Internet. While you can play some of them without downloading, the best ones do not usually have that feature. Before downloading games you are going to want to make sure that you check a couple of things.
You’ll find more trustworthy sites then you’ll find scam sites, but never download from a place that you are unfamiliar with or cannot find proof that they are trustworthy. If you click on the link that says it’s one thing and they take you somewhere else, immediately look for another site as you very well may be on a hack site. The last thing you want to do is give one of these sites access to your machine.
The Internet has come a long way in providing games. When the sites first opened up, you can merely placing card games and board games. That is all changed as they have expanded their abilities and technology has improved. Now, every site you go on as a full menu of hundreds of downloadable games.
One of the great aspects of Internet gaming is that you get to try the game before actually purchasing. If you’re looking for a downloadable game that you can enjoy whenever you want, simply go to the site and click on the free downloadable version and you’ll usually get about an hour of game time before actually having to make your purchase. If you find that your time is up and you’re still deeply entrenched in the game, you’re probably going to end up buying.
There are games that after you download the trial version, you can’t wait to get it off of your computer. Then there are games like Fishdom and have you reaching for your wallet about five minutes in to your game play.
Once you have downloaded the game, you no longer need to be connected to the Internet to play. You can simply fire up the game any time you’re looking for a little entertainment. If the game has updates, they will usually automatically happen you start the game as it will connect to the Internet briefly to see if improvements have been made.
There are also interactive downloadable games on the Internet. These are also games that are sweeping the world with popularity. You can play these games individually, against others or even develop your own team to compete against others at certain levels of play. This may be one of the best features of Internet gaming as your team can be comprised of four different people from four different corners of the world.

The Playstation 3 has been recently growing in popularity, with more and more people switching to it from the Xbox 360 due to the power it offers. One of the great features that this system offers is the ability to use PS3 downloads on your gaming system.
You might imagine that we hear from a lot of gamers who wonder where they can find downloads for this system. That’s why we decided to put together a guide to explain where to get these files.
Step one is to know what to avoid, and that means websites claiming they offer free PS3 downloads. You might see some with fancy advertising or flashy site setups, but they’re going to cause you problems in the end.
That’s because sites like this are putting your computer at risk of spyware infections, adware, and viruses. Nothing is in place to monitor file uploads, and you’ll never know what it is that you’re downloading.
That’s not the only problem, however. Download speeds on these files can be incredibly slow, and you may even discover that the game you’ve downloaded is corrupt and won’t function. That’s annoying if you’ve waited hours for your download. No one wants to waste that much time on something that doesn’t do what it says.
There’s a better option! Join a site that offers a guarantee and allows you to download whenever you want. Look for sites that have monitored content and will offer you functional games and fast download speeds.
These sites aren’t free, of course. There’s a relatively low membership fee – about fifty dollars for permanent access. Then, you can log in whenever you choose without concerns about being billed again. You’ll get not just unlimited downloads of PS3 games, but also music, movies, and plenty of other files that are usable on your game console.
You want to steer clear of membership sites that charge a monthly fee or that charge per filed downloaded. This might seem like a good deal, but you’ll actually save more with a site that offers a one time only fee for a lifetime membership. It’s a lot less costly in the long run.
A good site will include information about getting the files you download to function on your system, and will offer access to any software you need to circumvent the copy protection on the games.
Once you join a PS3 download site like these, you might find yourself addicted to downloading. You get the ability to try out new games whenever you like, after all. Just turn on the computer.

After you have bought your wii you will be faced this the decision of whether you should buy your games at retail stores or if it would be better to download them online. Although the matter is not free from doubt the better answer appears to be that downloadable wii games offer considerably more advantages when compared to retail stores. This article will explore some of those reasons and show you how to get started downloading wii games in just seconds.
1. The first obvious advantage to downloading wii games is that it is considerably less expensive. A membership to a top downloading service will cost you less than the price of one game purchased in a retail store. Once you have signed up you will get unlimited access to all of your favourite games with the click of the mouse.
2. With downloadable wii games you can try any game risk free. Most members of a download service will download multiple games in a single night and play the ones they like the most. No refunds are available when you purchase your games in retail stores and if you don’t like what you bought you are stuck with it.
3. The convenience of downloadable wii games is undeniable. There is nothing better than being able to download any game you want from home. Never again will you have to leave your home to go to the mall and pay expensive retail prices.
4. There is no risk of losing a downloadable wii game. In fact you can download the same game over and over again, this way you are protected against scratched games, lost games, damaged or even stolen games. It’s never fun to have to buy the same game twice.
5. Instructional booklets can also be downloaded. The one thing that some people think is good about retail games is that they come with instructional booklets. If you are someone who really wants this feature, they can be downloaded too.
One thing to keep in mind when downloading wii games is that you should avoid torrent websites. These sites are very dangerous and will infect your PC with viruses and malware. They can also be extremely slow and frustrating with downloads sometimes taking weeks to complete. Finally, because they are not regulated they usually don’t have the full version on the games you want to play, only trial versions that ask you to pay once you reach a certain level.
If you own the Nintendo wii you can definitely benefit from joining a good download site. Downloadable wii games are on the tip of the iceberg at these sites. The top sites now also give you 24/7 customer support, free trial memberships and an absolutely massive selection of additional media such as movies, music, television shows and more.
