Why are game and software downloads more expensive then DVD versions?
Thursday, September 2nd, 2010 |I have noticed on impulse and Adobe website that to download a game or piece of software it costs about £5-£10 more then getting the game or software on DVD in a shop. Can someone explain to me why this is? as I always thought not having to created a printed manual, DVD disc, case design, distributing to the numerous shops would be cheaper then just storing the game on a server and having people downloading it.
