Can you use a playstation 1 memory card to save playstation 2 games?
I found my old playstation 2… but lost my memory card for it. However I still have my playstation 1 memory card… can the playstation 1 memory card be used to save playstation 2 games?

No you can’t because ps1 memory card doesn’t fit in the ps2 memory slot, and the ps1 memory card isn’t recognized by the ps2. Plus the ps1 memory card doesn’t have the space needed for game saves.

No. You can use it to save PS1 games when you play them on your PS2, but it will not save PS2 games:)

on terrys answer you can use ps1 cards in the ps2 but only to save ps1 games, ps2 cards will only save ps2 games.

It will fit altho it is only 2mb as ps2 is 8mb and i think it will only save ur PS1 games altho that shouldnt stop u from atleast trying it still may work i cant remeber if i saved ps2 games on it or not

no. ps2 games arent compatible with ps1 games. if they were, then what was the point of the ps2 then?
