Can you play Xbox 360 games on a regular Xbox?
I was just wondering because before Christmas I could find games for my sons Xbox and now cannot even find one. He got a Wii but enjoys playing his Xbox and I heard the 360 scratches games. Serious answers only please.
How is this a stupid question when I can play my old Playstation games on my sons Playstation 2?

No, the XBox360 games require the more powerful system that is the Xbox360. The Xbox360 replaced the xbox.
Look at used games stores for XBox games, they are typically cheaper and most stores offer guarantees that the disk isn’t scratched etc.

You can not play xbox 360 games on a regular xbox, but you can play xbox games on a xbox 360. The 36 only scratches games when its in the vertical position, well for me it did. Horizontal= no problems,
