The Crafter. If you are not the type who likes to gather, then be a crafter. However, you need to have about 10 to 20 Gold to spend as you will need to buy ingredients whether you want to venture into leatherworking, blacksmithing or alchemy and tailoring. This is not recommended for those who just started to make Gold as you might not have the experience to earn Gold using this method and in the end you earn nothing at all. Buy low and sell High. To be able to buy low and sell high, you must have some Gold first at least 10 Gold to get started. The strategy is simple. What you need to do is to buy items at the lowest price and sell them back at a higher price. Always watch out for items with WTS (Want To Sell). Usually players who sell items this way want to get Gold fast so what you can do is send them a private message asking how much the items cost or simply saying that you will offer X amount of Gold for it. Then you negotiate with the seller to get the lowest price but keep in mind, you must keep the price below the selling price or else you will not gain any profit. Other people selling the shards will think that they have been selling at 1.8g, so they will put them up for that amount as well. Now, all you have to do is sell off all of your large glimmering shards at 1.8g and you just made twice what you invested at first.

In case you haven’t read the paper lately or just got back from your year-long-trip to the Australian Outback, Grand Theft Auto 4-or GTA 4-is not only the admired game out right now, but also the highest ranked, best-reviewed game of all time. GTA 4 holds the record for most sales in the first day of availability, $310 million, and most sales in the first week, $500 million. Besides the huge sales, the game’s reviews have been out of sight, with perfect, 10 out 10 scores from all the top magazines and reviewers.
So what’s all the Grand Theft Auto 4 fuss about? There’s almost too much to mention. You can have more than a few active missions going on at once, and some of them may occur over a couple of days. One different twist is that there are several “morality choices” at sundry times during the game. The choice you make ultimately determines which of the two dissimilar endings you get. Technically, the wrecks are more detailed than in previous versions, so you’ll see helmets go flying and characters rag dolling down the pavement.
GTA 4 makes much more use of mobile phones. Not only can players examine text messages and appointments, but they can also take pictures to upload into the police computer, dial up 911 for assistance from police, paramedics or the fire station. Oh yeah, and if you are interested in any of the 214 songs you hear on the 18 radio stations, make use of the character’s phone to “mark” the songs. Before you get your hands busy with mining, you might want to look at the following needs:
1) Mining Skill. You earn this by going to your local mining trainer for training.
The following is a list of mining trainers and their locations:
Gelman Stonehand: Stormwind, on the western end of Dwarven District (Alliance Trainer)
Kurdram Stonehammer: Darkshore, north Auberdine area. (Alliance Trainer)
Matt Johnson: Duskwood, in the north section of Darkshire. (Alliance Trainer)
Brock Stoneseeker: Loch Modan, Southwest part of Thelsamar. (Alliance Trainer)
Brom Killian: Undercity, South of the bridge leading to the War Quarter. (Horde Trainer)
Geofram Bouldertoe: Deepmountain Mining Guild in Ironforge. (Alliance Trainer)
Makaru: A Horde Trainer who may be found in Orgrimmar, center of the valley of honor.
Brek Stonehoof: Thunder Bluff, western edge of the center plateau. (Horde Trainer)
Yarr Hammerstone: Dun Morogh, eastern edge of Kharanos. (Alliance Trainer)
Dank Drizzlecut: Dun Morogh, north of Gol’bolbar Quarry. (Alliance Trainer)
2) A mining pick. It is very important to note that this could become enchanted despite the fact that there’s not much difference other than the glow it emits when it is equipped like a normal weapon. This doesn’t make sense to me but some people find this really cool.
3) Gloves (optional but recommended). Get the cheapest gloves you can find and enchant them with 5 mining skill. This won’t cost you more than 2 gold.
For those who are curious, the 5 mining will not guarantee an improved potential of getting a crystal, but will, at least, increase your chances of not having a failed attempt.
Engineers Note: A 5 will be added to your mining skill if you make a Goblin Mining Helmet.

I strongly urge that you mine about 50 copper and then smelt. Copper abounds, so you can utilize any of the following mining routes below or even invent your own:

Horde
- Tauren: Mulgore: Simply select any starting point and follow the cliffs that you would see along the way. And remember to check out the Venture Company mine. You should obtain about 40-50 copper on this course.
- Orc and Troll: An easy way to do this is to simply complete whole circuits of Durotar. However, there is plenty of copper here, that it might be more enjoyable to begin at the Razor Hill and afterwards move West towards the Quilboar grounds, hugging the cliff face until the river is reached before moving up North to finally set foot at Orgrimmar. After which, you could move East until you reach a small farmstead, then head South to drop into the canyon. Following the canyon and heading South East, you’ll find yourself in the razor hill again. At the end of all these you’ll earn about 25-30 copper ores.
- Undead: Once you reach the entrance of DeathKnell, go South and follow the cliffs on the way, then past Undercity, and up the bulwark. Afterwards, head up North to Scarlet monastery, hugging the cliffs as you move. Go west upon reaching the coast, and then start moving South following the cliffs down to Agamand Mills. Then, follow the hills down South once again going back to the entrance of Deathknell. You’d probably earn between 30-40 copper ore on this run.
Alliance
- Night Elves: There are no ores in Darnassus so you must go to Darkshore. Start at Auberdine and go east until you reach the cliffs at the top of the map. Move southward while staying keeping to the cliffs. When you reach the entrance of Ashenvale, go west to the coast then north back to Auberdine. From here, go east like before, but this time, when you reach the cliffs, move northward while following the cliffs around the coast heading south again to Auberdine. This figure 8 pattern make it easier for you rather than taking Auberdine in one whole route. You will have about 40-50 copper ores by the end of this run.
- Dwarves and Gnomes: You don’t need a route because copper is everywhere.
Human: Starting from Goldshire, head towards the east to the north of Crystal Lake. Once you arrive at the north of the logging camp, move towards the south and follow the river all the way to the border of Duskwood and Elwyn Forest. From there, move towards the northwest and go back to Goldshire. Visiting at least 2 mines on this trek can get you at least 30-40 copper ores.
